Word has reached us from one of our friends visiting Paris and popped in our Ports1961 Store on Rue St. Honore. The staff informed them as they admired the interior that  “many people come in to shop, not only for the clothes but also because they catch a glimpse of an amazing interior”.  We liked that bit, of course, and thought we’d share it with you!

Al Sowwah Island Central Plaza in Abu Dhabi http://blog.archi-tectonics.com/?p=490 http://blog.archi-tectonics.com/?p=490#comments Fri, 02 Mar 2012 00:10:42 +0000 admin http://blog.archi-tectonics.com/?p=490 abu-dhabi.jpg

Our tower entry for the 4,000,000 sqft Al Sowwah Island Central Plaza competition was one of three to make it the final round of judging. The two mixed use towers containing office spaces, residential units, and boutique hotel react to the surrounding urban and environmental constraints to create crystallized performance based organic formations.

Holon “City Center” Competition http://blog.archi-tectonics.com/?p=301 http://blog.archi-tectonics.com/?p=301#comments Thu, 01 Mar 2012 18:02:41 +0000 admin http://blog.archi-tectonics.com/?p=301

Archi-tectonics was one of three firms invited to participate in the Holon “City Center” competition. The program called for a revitalized city center that included municipal functions, spec office space, residential towers, ground level retail, and a concert hall. See below our proposal for this 55,000 m2 mixed use development.   Take a look at the write up on ArchHeb.com.  The text is in Hebrew but the images are all there and quite informative.
