On February 15, 2012 during the Social Media Week in New York, Winka represented Archi-Tectonics at the “Building Cities through Social Media,” event put together by UN-Habitat and the MIT Center for Civic Media. Social Media have added a new dimension to information access and this think tank focused on social media and its relation to urban planning, while exploring the opportunities in new digital tools. Social Media Developers from MIT and other experts discussed how this process could be strengthened by using various digital tools and applications, after the experts had given their views.
